Barack Obama

If I had the chance to pick a president, it would be Barack Obama. Barack Obama is a well educated and sophisticated man. He was raised by an African father and a Canadian mother. He graduated from a Columbian University with a degree in international relation with the help of the scholarship that they provided him with. With his hard work he was able to work his way up to earn a degree and to work in as a community organizer. After a while he brought up the democrats and the republicans together for a common good. After the disaster that happened in New Orleans by hurricane Katrina, Obama and Oprah went to New Orleans to help the victims. When they were there Oprah saw how Obama was really trying to help and that he had a good heart, so Oprah had a fund raising campaign which a lot of celebrities attended and donated money to help Obama reach his goal in winning the election. Obama is a type of person that wants all the community in the U.S. to be treated the same, no matter what race, culture, or religion the person is. As an example he said earlier, “My goal is to stop the war in Iraq which is killing a lot of innocent people.” This is way I would choose Obama over the other candidates that are running for President. I think he would be a successful president.
